KINGS GLEN STEAM NIGHT ~ A HUGE SUCCESS!
Many thanks to all the participants who presented and attended Kings Glen's first-ever STEAM night! A huge shout out to Lisa Rode for organizing the event and partnering with students and families who developed exhibits. Thank you to the SACC staff for the Hovercraft exhibition, to the Kings Glen staff who lead STEAM attendees through a variety of engaging and hands-on activities to include Code Ninjas, Fairfax County Stormwater Management watershed station, Makey Makey Music, Bruin Bots, KG/SACC hovercrafts, Micro:bits, just to name a few! We appreciate the Big Cheese food truck for the delicious grilled cheese sandwiches and the many local businesses who donated raffle items.
We look forward to future events and watching our Gators grow in their STEAM knowledge!
