💻 Try Online Registration
Online registration for the 2025-26 school year is open. Parents/caregivers may register their children online for kindergarten through 12th grade. Learn how to begin the online registration process.
When registering, parents/caregivers will need to create or log in to an existing SIS ParentVUE account.
Get2Green is an FCPS environmental stewardship program. Here at Hayfield, we are working to make a positive impact on our environment through recycling initiatives and gardening projects. In the fall, we worked on weeding and cleaning up some of our outdoor spaces. In the spring, we will host a series of events to weed and plant in our garden spaces.
Students in grades 4-6 are invited to participate. If interested, students should request a participation form from their teacher to be returned to Ms. Taylor (5th grade) or Mr. Pitts (P.E.) at least one week prior to the next scheduled event.
Our next events will take place on the following dates: Wednesday, April 9; and Thursday, May 1. Students may sign up for one or both of the days. Families must be able to pick up their students at 4:30 p.m., unless the student is enrolled in SACC.
🚀 Prepare for a Summer of Learning and Fun
Registration begins for these programs on Monday, March 10, for summer camps offered by Fairfax County Public Schools for all students. Career and Technical Education (CTE) camps and Institute for the Arts (IFTA) camps will be held in July at Lake Braddock Secondary School from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bus transportation will be available from select FCPS middle and high schools.
Tech Adventure Camp (TAC) is a week-long exploratory camp designed to allow current K-5 students to explore activities in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), culinary arts, health, trades, and business and marketing areas. Watch this video about CTE camps.
E-IFTA is a weekly arts camp for students in grades 2-5 who love to sing, dance, act, perform, make, and create. Students take part in four daily classes related to dance, music, theater, and visual art. They work with FCPS fine arts teachers who create fun and engaging classes.
For more information, see the Summer Learning page. Summer learning programming is contingent upon final approval of the FY26 budget and may be canceled if funding is not available. Tuition will be refunded if programs are unable to run. You can submit feedback on the FY26 Budget Proposal on the Fairfax County Government website.
The 2025 Guide to Summer Camps is now accessible on the Family Resource Center website.
