 Congratulations to all the Lemon Road artists who had work featured at the Marshall Pyramid Art Show last week! It was great to see so many families and proud artists visit our section and receive certificates from Mrs. Norton. Thank you for your support!
Last week, Lemon Road teachers hosted Family Engagement Events in Grades 2 and 5. Our 2nd graders showed off their recent social studies units about the American Indian cultures. The students worked together and were very proud of their finished projects. 5th graders shared their independent writing pieces related to their technology Benchmark Advance Unit. I learned a lot visiting the classrooms Friday afternoon. Thank you to all the family members who took time on Friday to visit with us.
Tomorrow is an Early Release Monday. Unless your child is staying for childcare or the Grade 5 & 6 Dance, they will be dismissed at 11:55.
This week, our PTA is hosting another Dining for Dollars Night on Wednesday, March 19 at Plaka Grill. Finally, the LRES Staff Basketball Game will be held at Marshall High School on Friday Night. Doors open at 6:15. Tip-off is 7:00 sharp so get their early to purchase refreshments and find a seat! Who will win - Team Lemons or Team Lions? Come cheer us on!
- Students who are fasting during the school day through March 28th can now take school meal kits home at the end of the day. Fill out this request form or visit the FNS webpage for more information.

- Registration for the 2025-26 school year is open! Parents/caregivers may register their children online. Learn how to begin the online registration process.
- Drop off your written or printed recipes in the Recipe Box by the front door at school, or email them to Mrs. Busch – klbusch@fcps.edu.
- All visitors must bring and scan a government-issued photo ID each time they visit school. Arrive early to events to ensure time for parking and check in.

FCPS has partnered with Varsity Tutors to provide students with extra resources for learning. Every student can take advantage of Varsity Tutors' services, at no cost, including weekly live online classes, on demand 24/7 chat tutoring, essay editing, study resources such as recorded content, practice problems, and diagnostic tests. All FCPS students automatically have access to these free resources when they log into Clever through Schoology. For any questions, please reach out to onlinetutoring@fcps.edu.
