Clermont's Odyssey of the Mind Teams Shine!

A college of four Clermont Odyssey of the Mind Teams from this year.

A huge round of applause for our six incredible Clermont Odyssey of the Mind teams! We are bursting with pride at their fantastic achievements.

  • First Place: Cooking with Books - Division II (Coaches Jennifer & Amanda)
  • Second Place: Mech-Animal Sidekick - Division I (Coach Curtis) and AstronOMical Odyssey! - Division II (Coach Tiffany)
  • Third Place: Cooking with Books - Division I (Coaches Jennifer & Rosario)

And a special High Five to the C-Bugs team, who have been working together since 1st grade, for advancing to the State Championship on Saturday, April 26th! We're cheering you on!

The Clermont primary teams were also outstanding! They received glowing feedback from head judges, who consistently praised Clermont students for their exceptional creativity and humor.

It's truly remarkable that all four of our Division I and II teams placed in the top three. WOW!

Odyssey of the Mind is more than just a competition; it's an opportunity for students to:

  • Foster creativity and problem-solving skills.
  • Develop teamwork and critical thinking.
  • Learn valuable life skills like time management and public speaking.
  • Build innovation and resilience.
  • Most importantly, have a TON of fun!

We are incredibly proud of all our students and coaches for their hard work and dedication. Congratulations!

Thank You for Making the Silent Auction a BIG SUCCESS!

Silent Auction - Back to the 80's Party - March 2025

Thank you to everyone who came to, supported and bid on items for the Silent Auction! Everyone had a bodacious time reliving the 80s and helping Clermont raise over $34,000 while doing it! We exceeded our goal, and funds raised will benefit all students at Clermont Elementary! We also saw the highest turnout for the silent auction in 5 years!

Last Chance Auction Items!

There are some really great items still available to bid on including classes, camps, socials and teacher experiences! The silent auction will open back up on Monday, March 17th at 8am and close Sunday, March 23rd at 10pm. Check out the Last Chance Items in the Auction Catalog and get ready to bid again!

Thank You to Our Volunteers!

The TOTALLY TUBULAR evening would not have been possible without the many volunteers who helped before, during, and after the silent auction. Thank you!

Special thanks to the coordinators of the event: Joshua & Natalie Justice, Tysen Perszyk, and PTA VP of Fundraising - Meagan Tiedemann for all their ideas, guidance, technical know-how, patience and time put into the event. Special thanks to Emily Siqveland and Diane Lundin on their much-needed help with soliciting item donations and with communications!

Thank You to our Business Sponsors!

The FANTABULOUS evening would not have been possible without our Business Sponsors who provided music, food, drinks, and other amazing things to make the event memorable! We received the highest amount of contributions from our local business that we have ever had! Thank You!

Auction Photography!

Thank You to Emily Campos, from Emily Campos Photography and Clermont parent, who took photos at our photocall! With so many having arrived dressed to impress, we are certain the pictures will be Epic.

Digital pictures are saved to a website collection, and the link was emailed out to all attendees on Tuesday March 11.

Final Auction Updates!

  • If you bid on an item which wasn't marked as a physical item, it will be emailed to the address you registered with Auctria in the next few weeks.
  • If you have a physical item that wasn't picked up, you will receive an email to coordinate as well.
  • For teacher experiences, the teachers will all be emailed the names of the winners and will reach out.

Please be patient as this can take a bit to wade through and sort! If you haven't heard by the end of March, please email vpfundraising@clermontpta.org.

Kindergarten Registration & Orientation

It’s Kindergarten Registration Time!

Attending kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives. Registering your child early helps us prepare and ensure we have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.

Families should prepare for registration by gathering documents and completing forms on the FCPS kindergarten registration webpage. FCPS offers support and resources for all families to help with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For support in other languages, visit the kindergarten registration webpage

If you have questions about kindergarten registration please contact Katie Simmons at kesimmons@fcps.edu

Kindergarten Orientation March 19th
