Tomorrow is a 3-hour early release. Last week you received a notification of how your child will be going home. Please avoid making changes to your child’s schedule tomorrow. Have a child starting at Sunrise Valley this fall? It’s registration time! Early registration is key, as it helps determine the number of teachers and classrooms we’ll have. Please spread the word to neighbors! Our goal is to have most families registered before our Kindergarten Orientation on April 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
International Night is coming up on March 19th from 6:00-8:30pm! Use the QR code in this flyer to sign-up to participate and show off your culture. There will be club booths with food and interactive activities, a fashion show, and performances! You can sign-up as an individual, group, or club/organization. Sign-up now to save your booth!

The Langston Hughes Middle School Library will host a book fair from March 17 - 21 from 7:30am - 3:00pm with extended hours on Wednesday, March 19 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm during the "I See Me in Reston" community event.
Please consider coming out to support the library!

Talent Show: Friday, April 25, 6pm
Auditions: Friday, April 4, 4-7pm
Registration is now open for our annual Talent Show for all students in Grades 2-6. ALL sixth graders who audition will be included in the Talent Show. Other acts will be included as space allows based on overall fit and program length.
Auditions are required to ensure acts are appropriate in content and length. Acts must be 2 minutes or less. Students are encouraged to participate in groups.

All interested students should register online by Friday, March 28.
- Audition time slots will be provided via email by Sunday, March 30.
- This event is FREE and put on by parents for our children!

It's time to order the 2024-2025 yearbook! Cost is $20. Yearbooks will be distributed to students in the last week of the school year.

Grade-level play dates in March are in full swing. This weekend's playdates are noted below. All start at 11:30am, and everyone will meet at the Sunrise Valley playground.
