📝Student Intentions 2025 – 2026

Please use this Google form to let us know whether or not your student will be returning to Mosaic ES next year or transferring to another school. If you prefer, you can download the Student Intention form and return it to your child’s teacher. If you have more than one student at Mosaic ES, please submit one form per child. A response is requested from all families by the end of March. This information is important as state regulations require that we determine the educational intentions of students leaving FCPS. If you have moved or plan on moving, or have any questions, please contact Jenny Davisson at jvdavisson@fcps.edu to update your information.

🏫 2025-2026 Kindergarten Registration and Orientation

Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is open. If you have a child that will turn five by September 30, 2025, please go to https://www.fcps.edu/online-registration to use the new online registration portal. While online registration is preferred and recommended, you can also download the registration bundle at https://www.fcps.edu/registration/forms or you can stop by the Mosaic office any day between 9 - 2 to pick up a registration packet. Once you have filled out the forms and collected the required documents, please call the office at 703-937-1600, or send email to jvdavisson@fcps.edu, to make an appointment with our registrar, Jenny Davisson. Read more about the registration process here.

The Kindergarten Orientation will be on Tuesday, April 1st at 2:00 p.m. Dr. Aste will provide an overview of the Kindergarten program. You are invited to bring your rising kindergartners with you as they will have an opportunity to play in a kindergarten classroom while you are enjoying the presentation. We will also have staff available if you wish to complete your registration after the presentation.

🪖Month of the Military Child – “Honor Wall”

We are honoring our Month of the Military Children at Mosaic by creating an “Honor Wall.” We know many students and families have connections to the military and we want to honor the sacrifice these individuals and their families make every day! If you have someone (parent, grandparent, sibling, aunt/uncle, etc.) who has served in any branch of the military at any time, please bring in a photo you are willing to part with. Include their name, the branch of service, years they served, and the name of the student they are connected to! We will create one big mural to honor them all! Photos will be accepted until April 16th!

📚Shop Mosaic's Online Bookstore!

While the Book Fair might be over, you can still shop in our Online Bookstore! Our librarian, Mrs. Brown, has provided a few lists of recommended books and we have also provided some lists compiled by Bookworm Central of their new releases, favorites, and best sellers.

Add items to your shopping cart, checkout, and wait for them to be delivered to your home.  It's that easy!  Furthermore, if your purchase is over $60, it ships for free and all purchases help raise money for the PTA!

Thank you for your generosity and support. Happy reading!
