Churchill Chatter - Issue 14, March 10, 2025
Dear Churchill Road families,
We are halfway through the third quarter, enjoying longer days and warmer temperatures. Our 6th graders are heading on their field trip to Philadelphia later this week and our students are looking forward to beginning planting in our raised beds.
Next week, March 17, is our next three hour early release Monday. See below for details and to update your student’s dismissal plan, if necessary.
We hope you enjoy the end of winter weather and are able to spend time outdoors with your families.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Cherith Pierson-Barr

Character Strengths Focus
The next character strength our school community is focusing on is OPM (Other People Mindset) - Identifying & Appreciating the Good in Others.
OPM - Identifying & Appreciating the Good in Others means it’s important to deliberately work to identify and appreciate others’ character strengths
To practice and encourage the character strengths with your child, please visit the Positivity Project’s P2 for Families (password: P2), where together you will watch a video, read a quote, and talk about the answers to three questions about these character strengths.
