 Next Thursday March 6, Clermont will celebrate Read Across America. Students are encouraged to wear a shirt with school appropriate words that others can read. They should also bring a book to read independently as our school will drop everything and read. We can’t wait to read with you!
It’s Kindergarten Registration Time!
Attending kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives. Registering your child early helps us prepare and ensure we have the teachers and resources needed on the first day of school.
Families should prepare for registration by gathering documents and completing forms on the FCPS kindergarten registration webpage. FCPS offers support and resources for all families to help with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For support in other languages, visit the kindergarten registration webpage.

Kindergarten Orientation March 19th
If your child will be joining Clermont for Kindergarten in the fall, please join us on March 19th for Kindergarten Orientation. Doors will open at 4:30 pm, and Orientation will begin at 5:00 pm. Your rising kindergarten student is encouraged to join you! (Parents should be prepared to show a valid ID upon entry.)

We are just 1 week away from the 2025 Clermont PTA Silent Auction and are seeing lots of interest from the community! This year we are going back to the 80s!! The event will once again be held at the beautiful ALX Atrium in Alexandria (on the corner of Washington and Duke Streets) on Saturday, March 8th at 6:00 pm! There will be a live band (Diplomatic Immunity), plenty of delicious food, and great drinks. The PTA Silent Auction is one of our largest fundraising events of the year. It allows the PTA to sponsor a vast number of programs throughout the year that benefit ALL Clermont students, including enrichment programs, school field trips, classroom instructional supplies, new technology, assemblies, and more.

Live Auction Returns!
For the first time since 2020, the highly energetic and entertaining Live Auction portion of the Clermont PTA Silent Auction returns this year and with some big ticket items! You must be present at the event to participate, and the Live Auction will be held at 8:30pm. You do not want to miss this!!! Live Auction Items include:
- Pair of Jet Blue Tickets to Anywhere! Dream big on a destination! (2024’s most sought after item)
- 2 Nights at the Greenbrier Resort! ($1,500 - $2,000 value)
- 2 sets of 4 Front Row Tickets to 6th Grade Graduation!
Arrive Early and Receive Courtesy Professional Digital Photos!
On auction night, between 6-7pm, Emily Campos, from Emily Campos Photography and Clermont parent, will be taking photos of individuals, couples and friends at the balloon arch photocall! Want multiple pictures with friends or groups, let’s capture the moments! Digital pictures will be saved to a website collection and the link emailed out to all attendees following the auction. Due to the large number of guests, we do not have the ability to send out photos individually. Get your ticket, come early and smile!
Silent Auction Opens Online on Monday, March 3rd at 10am!
The Clermont PTA Silent Auction opens online Monday, March 3rd at 10:00am! The auction is opening before the Saturday evening event based on parent feedback and consistent with how we did it last year. This will give parents an opportunity to bid/purchase items before the event and allow for parents to participate in the Silent Auction if they are unable to attend the evening event. The auction will close at 9pm on Saturday during the Clermont PTA Silent Auction Gala.
Our Science Festival has been rescheduled to Thursday, March 20. Space is still available to register to attend! (If you previously registered to attend, you do not need to re-register.)
As always we are looking for volunteers to help out. If you have some availability given the new date please consider volunteering your time.
