1st Day of Spring Sports Tryouts, February 24th, 2025

Baseball – Varsity 3:15pm-5:15pm / JV 5:00pm-7:00pm *Baseball Field Softball – 4:45pm-7:00pm / JV 4:45-7:00pm *Softball Field

Boys Lacrosse - 5:30pm-7:30pm *Stadium Field

Girls Lacrosse - 5:00pm-6:30pm *Back Field

Track & Field - 3:30pm-5:30pm *Track

Boys Soccer - 3:15pm- 5:15pm *Stadium Field

Girls Soccer - 3:15pm-4:45pm *Back Field

Boys Tennis - 4:00pm-5:30pm *Tennis Courts

Girls Tennis - 4:00pm-5:30pm *Tennis Courts

 

**** Students must register online and turn in a VHSL Physical in order to be able to tryout for a sports team.

2025 Winter Sports Awards Night 3/10/2025 6pm Cafeteria**

The 2024-2025 winter awards night will be held on Monday, March 10th

          @ 6pm in the cafeteria. Individual program awards to follow!

Hall of Fame

The Herndon High School Sports Hall of Fame is back up and accepting nominations!

In order to be considered for the Herndon Athletic Hall of Fame an application must be submitted. If you know of somebody you wish to be considered, please have them fill out this form or you can fill it out on their behalf. It is important that you provide their contact information and as much information as possible regarding their athletic accomplishments in high school, college, and professional athletics as well as any civic or professional awards they may have received.

Eligibility criteria:

  • A former Herndon coach or athletic support person who has retired
  • A Herndon athlete that graduated at least 10 years ago 
  • A nominee must receive 70% of the HOF Committee's votes to gain election     
  • A nominee's form will remain active for 5 years (if they don't get voted in).
  • After 5 years, another form will have to be submitted
