Important Traffic Guidance
Dear Springfield Estates Community,
To ensure the safety of our students, staff, and neighbors, we kindly remind families to follow these Fairfax County parking and traffic regulations:
🚗 No Parking Within 10 Feet of a Driveway – Parking too close to driveways blocks access and creates safety hazards. (Fairfax County Code 82-5-1(a)(2))
🚒 No Parking Within 15 Feet of a Fire Hydrant – This applies to both public and private roads and is strictly enforced by Fairfax County Police and Fire & Rescue. (Fairfax County Code 82-5-1(a)(4), Chapter 9 PFM)
⚠️ Avoid 3-Point Turns on Narrow Roads – Making 3-point turns near the school puts our student walkers and buses at risk. Please use designated routes and be mindful of traffic flow.
