🐻 It’s Kindergarten Registration Time!

kindergarten class

Herndon ES Kindergarten class celebrates the 100th day!

,Attending kindergarten provides children with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional, problem-solving, and self-regulation skills they will use throughout their lives. Registering your child early helps schools prepare and ensure they have the necessary teachers and resources in place on the first day of school.

Families should prepare for registration by gathering documents and completing forms. FCPS offers support and resources to help with registration and the transition to kindergarten. For more details and support in other languages, visit the Registration webpage.

Herndon Elementary Kindergarten Orientation will be on Tuesday, April 1 at 10:00am.  Please contact our registrar, Shermin Sirajudin, at 703-326-3100 or ssirajudin@fcps.edu to schedule an appointment to register your child. Visit the Herndon ES registration webpage for more details.
