All Columbia students dismissed at 1:05pm this afternoon
Dear Columbia friends and families,
As you may already be aware, all schools in FCPS will close three-hours early today because of the expected inclement weather that will be moving in our area throughout the afternoon/evening today.
Today, Columbia ES will dismiss at 1:05 PM.
To ensure the safety of our students, families, staff members at Columbia ES, and our dedicated bus drivers and daycare drivers, it is imperative that everyone leaves school on-time.
If your child is a car rider and you will not be able to pick them up at 1:05 PM, then we ask you find someone your child is familiar with; and listed on their emergency care, who can do so on your behalf.
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure the safety of each and every member of the Columbia family today. We hope that everyone is safe and enjoys the snow!

Como ya sabrán, todas las escuelas en FCPS cerrarán tres horas antes hoy debido al mal tiempo esperado que se moverá en nuestra área durante la tarde/noche de hoy.
Hoy, Columbia ES saldrá a la 1:05 p.m.
Para garantizar la seguridad de nuestros estudiantes, familias, miembros del personal de Columbia ES y nuestros dedicados conductores de autobuses y de guarderías, es imperativo que todos salgan de la escuela a tiempo.
Si su hijo viaja en automóvil y no podrá recogerlo a la 1:05 p. m., le pedimos que busque a alguien con quien su hijo esté familiarizado; y enumerados en su atención de emergencia, que pueden hacerlo en su nombre.
