Honoring History, Celebrating Heritage: Black History Month at SoCo
As we celebrate Black History Month, we honor the countless contributions of Black individuals throughout history who have shaped and enriched our culture, our communities, and our world. This month, we take time to reflect, learn, and celebrate the strength, resilience, and achievements of Black Americans. Our students, faculty, and community will come together to explore the stories that often go untold, celebrate the diverse voices that enrich our society, and continue to foster a culture of inclusion and respect. Let’s embrace this month as a reminder that Black history is not just a part of the past but is alive and thriving in our present and future! We appreciate the staff and students who helped us decorate our halls and develop morning announcements in honor of this month’s celebration.
A World of Wonder: International Night at SoCo
Our International Night club is back at it again, bringing another spectacular celebration of culture, fashion, and dance to our community! After attending Friday night’s rehearsal, I can confidently say that this year’s performances are ready to step up to a whole new level of excellence. From dazzling traditional attire to show-stopping choreography, the talent and energy on display will leave you in awe. Whether you come for the stunning outfits or the mesmerizing moves, one thing is certain—this event will be nothing short of runway-worthy entertainment! I hope everyone who wanted to attend was able to see these amazingly talented students shared the pride they have of their families’ cultures.

It was inspiring to see so many students step into the spotlight and share their gifts, making this revival of the Talent Show a resounding success. We can’t wait to see what next year’s performers have in store!
