2024-25 FCPS School Calendar
Dear Spring Hill Families,
Another busy week of teaching and learning. Our second graders enjoyed a trip to Discovery Theater to learn about our pioneering African American Baseball Players, while our 4th-6th graders performed a wonderful band concert. We ended the week in impressive Spelling Bee!
Valentine’s Day is often thought of as the holiday of love and kindness. Rather than having spirit days and wearing certain items of clothing during Valentine’s Week, we would like our Spring Hill Panthers to work on completing acts of kindness. We have put together a Bingo Board for them to use. All they need to do is make a BINGO by filling in a row, column, or diagonal. After they have completed one of the activities they color it in on their board. If it is an activity they complete outside of school, we are asking a caregiver to initial the box. Once students have a BINGO, they will return the board to their teacher who will write their name on a special heart. All hearts will be displayed outside their classroom door for everyone to see. It is our hope that our entryway will be filled with hearts!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Amy Briggs

This includes if your child will be staying at school for an after school club. Additionally, all parents must be using our school-wide system, PickUp Patrol, to help us ensure a safe and smooth dismissal process. Visit our school website page for more details.
