Dear Terraset Families,

What a phenomenal week and weekend we’ve had as a Tiger community! In addition to the engaging learning opportunities we have had at school, our students and staff have also had a lot of fun. This past Friday and Saturday we were incredibly impressed by the outstanding talent that our students that participated in Broadway Night at South Lakes High School demonstrated- kudos to each of them!

Another highlight has been outdoor recess after so many days indoors due to weather. It is always so wonderful to experience the joy and energy of our Tigers enjoying outdoor movement and play. We hear that there may be more winter weather coming our way so we are taking full advantage of being outside as much as possible now.

Warmly,

Katie Aldridge, Principal

Dave Ickowski, Assistant Principal

🫱🏽‍🫲🏼Friendly Reminder: FCPS Trust Policy Information For Families

As we navigate the months ahead, many families are experiencing anxiety and uncertainty due to the recent Presidential Election and ongoing discussions surrounding immigration policies.

In 2022, the School Board adopted the Trust Policy, reaffirming its commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all students and their families. This policy aligns FCPS with Fairfax County’s Public Trust and Confidentiality Policy ensuring that students and families can access school division benefits and services without fear that their information will be disclosed to federal immigration officials.
