The general PTA meeting for this month will be next Thursday, February 13th at 7:00 p.m. in the Wolftrap cafeteria and via Zoom. Leina Lunghi, a Licensed Professional Counselor (and Wolftrap parent!), will be the guest speaker.
About Leina:
Leina Lunghi is a Licensed Professional Counselor and school counselor, with over 13 years of expertise in individual, group, and family counseling. A proud U.S. Navy veteran, she has been recognized for her leadership in fostering positive school cultures, social-emotional learning, and mindfulness practices. She is passionate about empowering individuals through self-talk strategies, resilience-building, and strength-based counseling.
As an award-winning educator and therapist, Leina is dedicated to helping others cultivate confidence, self-awareness, and a growth mindset.
Options will be discussed at next week's PTA meeting to include a possible vote on increasing the capital improvement budget to fund them. There will also be a potential vote on camera installation. The purpose of the cameras is to protect the safety and security of students, employees, ongoing monitoring of building exterior areas, and authorized visitors on school grounds.
Each year in the Wolftrap Yearbook, sixth grade parents are able to submit a short message to their student(s). The message should be 2-3 sentences, with a 300-character limit to ensure space for all.
Please submit your message by completing all questions in this form. If you have any questions, please contact the Yearbook Team at yearbook@wolftrappta.org. Deadline is February 18th.
