There is so much to celebrate inside of the doors of Pine Spring! Last week was a shining example of the incredible learning, collaboration, and community spirit that make our school so special.
We had an amazing Literacy Night, where families and students came together to celebrate the joy of reading. Our 6th graders had an inspiring visit from Luther Jackson Middle School, where they learned more about continuing their AVID journey and preparing for success beyond Pine Spring.
We also had the honor of celebrating the retirement of our beloved building supervisor, Dania Rivera, who has dedicated 17 wonderful years to Pine Spring. Her hard work and commitment have helped shape our school into the warm and welcoming place it is today, and she will be deeply missed.
Throughout the week, we witnessed the incredible ways our students support one another in their learning and growth. Their enthusiasm and dedication remind us how important it is to be present each day. Regular attendance is essential for success, and we want to partner with you to ensure your child is at school every day. If there’s anything preventing your child from wanting to attend school, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help break down barriers and ensure every student feels excited and supported in their learning journey.
Thank you for being such a vital part of the Pine Spring community. Your partnership and involvement make all the difference, and we are grateful for each and every one of you!

We want to remind everyone that our Kiss & Ride line is used by many families each morning. To keep things running efficiently and ensure a smooth drop-off for all, we kindly ask for your support in having your child ready to exit the car when you reach one of our staff members, who will open the door for you.
This means making sure your child has their belongings ready—including their backpack, water bottle, instrument, and lunch box—before reaching the drop-off zone. We also recommend saying your goodbyes when you reach the flagpole so that your child can feel confident and ready to start their day as soon as they arrive at the designated drop-off area.
By following these steps, we can keep the Kiss & Ride line moving smoothly, avoid backups, and ensure that everyone starts their day on a positive note. Thank you for your cooperation and support in making mornings at Pine Spring a success!
