Lost and Found

Our 2nd quarter Lost and Found items are scheduled for donation on Friday, February 7th.  Please help us by encouraging your child to stop by and retrieve their belongings or visit the Silverbrook PTO Facebook page for a video of missing items.

Parents and guardians are invited to participate in Morning Meeting in their child’s classroom on Friday, February 7. You will see each component of morning meeting that is completed daily in every classroom. Your will see the following components of morning meeting:

  • Greeting
  • Share
  • Activity
  • Morning meeting message

K-5 parents please arrive by 8:50 and enter the school at Door 3

6th grade parents please arrive by 9:50 and enter the school at Door 3

Save the date for our next Silverbrook PTO members meeting on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 5 at 7:00 PM in the Silverbrook cafeteria. 

 

Bingo Night

Mark your calendar for Bingo Night on Friday, Feb. 21! Tickets and pizza pack orders will go on sale at 5:00 PM on Feb. 7. This event WILL SELL OUT! Plan to purchase your tickets early. Links and additional details are coming soon. 

Kindergarten Registration: It’s as Easy as 1-2-3…

There’s an easy five-step process for parents wanting to register their child for kindergarten:

  1. Determine eligibility. 
  2. Identify your local school. 
  3. Gather documents. 
  4. Fill out forms. 

  5. Registration appointments through the Sign-Up Genius coming soon.

After the appointment at the school (the student and one guardian must be present), the student will be ready for Kindergarten Orientation on April 1. Read more about the registration process. For additional information, please contact rlpriestley@fcps.edu,our school registrar.
