Dear Clermont Families,
While some things are changing around us, one thing remains true. The Clermont staff reaffirms our commitment to safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning spaces for all students and their families. You can read more about our posted policies at this link. We understand that recent national policy decisions about immigration may be impacting our community. If your family needs resources, I encourage you to reach out to the FCPS Family Resource Center at 703-204-3941.
Our hearts also go out to any Clermont family directly affected by the plane crash earlier this week, as we also have learned that we have lost members of our larger FCPS family in this tragic accident. Our mental health team, teachers, and administrators are available to provide support to students who are experiencing big emotions around these topics. Please contact me, Ms. Salata rsalata@fcps.edu, or Mrs. Younger TRYounger@fcps.edu, and we can connect your child with the support they need. We are here for you, at every step, and are looking forward to a week of 5 days of outdoor recess for the students next week!
Monday, February 10 is the next 3-hour early release of the school year. Clermont students will be dismissed at 12:50 pm. Those students who were previously opted-in to the extended childcare option will be dismissed at 3:50 pm. Each family was sent an email confirming the dismissal time you selected for the previous early release days. If you have a change to your dismissal plan for this early release, please contact the Clermont Office at 703-921-2400 or email Mrs. Gibson at lmgibson@fcps.edu.
From our dedicated teachers to our innovative programs and supportive community, our 10 Points of Pride highlight the best of what our school has to offer. These key features demonstrate our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that prepares students for success. Discover what makes our school a truly exceptional place to learn and grow.

Preview the Auction with Clermont Teachers & Staff!
New to the auction? This annual event means so much to the Clermont teachers and staff that they created these videos to share with you! Check them out! We would like to thank the teachers and staff at Clermont Elementary School for participating in these great videos to highlight what a great event the Silent Auction is!
Business Sponsorships
We already have several businesses that are once again sponsoring the auction, and we have room for more! By sponsoring, businesses receive a lot of exposure! Each sponsorship includes 2 tickets to the event. Sponsors also receive signage* at the event and mentions by the MC of appreciation during the event. The sponsor will also be highlighted on the auction website, in multiple email blasts and on social media. Sponsors can click here and register.

Volunteers Needed!
The Science Festival is two weeks away, with all new experiments, and right now we do not have enough volunteers to host the event.
We are looking for 25+ additional parent volunteers to help with one or more of the following: set-up, check-in students, run one of the science stations that have simple step by step instructions (no ice cream station this year), and clean-up. If we do not receive enough volunteers by February 6, we will be forced to cancel the event. This event is a huge hit among students and staff, so we would hate to cancel it!
If you are able, please volunteer your time to help the PTA execute one of our cornerstone events!
