A Message from our Administrators

Dear Hunt Valley Community,

Thank you to everyone who came out to our Multicultural Night last night! It was wonderful to see so many families attend to share about their heritage and to learn from each other! The food was absolutely delicious :) This year, there was a parade of nations where students and families wore traditional outfits and carried flags. There was also a talent show portion where several students performed a dance, song, played an instrument or modeled their outfit. Ms. Robin Rundquist delivered a fabulous story-telling performance for the students and families! We appreciate all the hard work that our SCA put into planning and executing this event as well as the support of our PTA.  A huge thank you to our PTA sponsor, Ms. Garretson and all our staff members that attended the event.

Next Friday, February 7th is our first annual Science Fair sponsored by our PTA. We are looking forward to seeing all of the projects that our students have completed!

Monday, February 10th is our next 3-hour early release. Families will receive an eNotify confirming their selection for student dismissal. If there are any changes to when students will be dismissed or how they will get home, please fill out the google form that will be included in the email.

Health Reminders ❤️‍🩹

Flu season is here, and we all want to keep our students healthy and safe. Please remind your child to practice good hygiene, such as washing their hands frequently and covering their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.

If your child is feeling unwell, especially with flu-like symptoms such as fever, chills, or body aches, we ask that you to keep them at home to rest and recover and be fever free for 24 hours without medication, before returning to school. This helps prevent the spread of illness to others.

Thank you for your support in keeping our school community healthy. If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to reach out.

During the winter months students have experience dry skin and/or chapped lips.  Students may bring to school and carry non-prescription lotion and chapped stick for these symptoms.
