Rising 9th Grade (Current 8th Grade) Families
Plan to Attend Your High School's Curriculum Night
- Chantilly Hight School: Due to FCPS closure on Jan 8, CHS Curriculum Night is rescheduled for January 14, 5-8pm
- Westfield HS: Postponed due to FCPS school cancellation on Jan 8. Check out the Westfield Academic Advising website for updated information.
- Centreville HS: January 15, 6:30pm
- Robinson SS: January 15, 5-8pm
HS Counselors Visit Rocky - Postponed (originally scheduled on 1/8)
Counselors from Chantilly, Centreville and Westfields High Schools will be visiting Rocky Run and sharing about 9th grade course selection and high school student life
Monday, 1/13 - Friday 1/31 - Individual Academic Advising
Rocky Run Counselors will meet one-on-one with all 8th graders to go over courses, electives and make sure all classes have been entered correctly in SIS.
Thursday, 1/23 - Academic Advising Virtual Parent Coffee
Rocky Run Student Services will host a virtual meeting to present information and answer any questions from parents about choosing courses and electives for their child's high school. Stay tuned for more information.
Rising 8th Grade (Current 7th Grade) Families
Monday 2/3 - Friday 2/21 - Academic Advising
Rock Run counselors will meet with each 7th grader individually to discuss courses and confirm all classes have been entered in SIS correctly. Stay tuned. More information will be shared soon.

Rocky Run Curriculum Night and Electives Fair
Please mark your calendar for Rocky Run's Curriculum Night and Electives Fair. We will have two events - Virtual and In Person.

Tuesday, January 14, 6-7 PM Zoom Link (Originally scheduled on 1/8 and cancelled due to FCPS school closing on 1/8). Core subjects, Middle School Math Options, Honors/AAP, Special Education and ESOL Program.

Thursday, January 16, 6-7:30 PM (Snow Date: Thursday, January 23) Open House at Rocky Run During this in-person event, you will have an opportunity to take a self-guided building tour, meet with our staff members including administrators, counselors and teachers, and learn about our course offerings. All students and families are welcome!
