Dear Annandale Community,
Join us for tonight’s varsity basketball doubleheader as Annandale hosts region powerhouse, Hayfield! The action begins at 4:30pm with Junior Varsity Boys, followed by Varsity Girls at 5:45pm and concludes with Varsity Boys at 7:30pm.
In addition to watching some exciting basketball, you can check out our stunning new mural in the main gym celebrating the talent, teamwork, and spirit of our Atoms athletes. This mural is more than artwork—it’s a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and pride that make Annandale High School special. Special thanks to Capital Murals and the generous support of the Class of 1974 for making this happen!
Finally, as we monitor the forecast for potential inclement weather on Sunday evening into Monday, we want to remind you of how these situations are handled and how you can stay informed about any schedule changes.
FCPS’ website is generally the first place to find out about emergency weather closings. Other communication channels will be used as quickly as possible including email, text, social media, and news stations. Learn more about how schedule changes are communicated. In case of a delayed opening, the two-hour delay bell schedule can be found on the Annandale website.
