Lancers,
It is our final week before Winter Break, and there is a lot of activity here at Longfellow. We have our 7th and 8th grade team celebrations this week. This is our quarterly opportunity for our interdisciplinary teams to gather and participate in different activities to include team building exercises, games, and service-learning projects.
I would like to thank our SCA for running the canned food drive this month through our third period classes. We collected over 325 cans that will be donated to SHARE of McLean. Our 3rd period classes that collected the most cans were: Ms. Haley (127), Ms. Huftalen/Mr. Tosto (87), Ms. Robison (68). Thank you to all of our families for donating to help our community.
As always, please feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.
