Dear Dolphin Families,
What an incredible start to our "10 Days of December" spirit week! The energy and joy throughout our school have been contagious, and it's been wonderful to see everyone coming together to celebrate the season.
Last weekend, our chorus students delighted us with their performance of "Jingle at the Lake"---a true highlight that started our week off right! Their hard work and beautiful voices brought the season's cheers to our entire community.
As we look ahead to the final week before winter break, the celebration continues! On Thursday, December 18, our third through sixth grade students will get a chance to welcome Hughes Middle School's chorus students as they sing in this year's Winter Celebration. We wonder if any chorus members are former Dolphins? Band students will also get a chance to shine by spreading even more joy by playing carols in the main lobby.
As we enjoy these special events, please remember that attendance matters every single day, especially as winter break approaches. Each day provides important opportunities for learning and connection, and we want all of our Dolphins to finish 2024 strong!
Thank you for your continued support and for making this season so special for our students and staff!
Warm regards,
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Jill D. Stewart, Principal
Ms. Melanie N. Porter, Assistant Principal
