The holiday season has officially begun on Fort Belvoir! It was so wonderful to see so many families at Winterfest 2024 this past Saturday. This event provided a special opportunity for us to come together and celebrate as a school community. As the principal, it was heartwarming to witness families connecting and enjoying such a joyous occasion. The tree lighting ceremony was a fantastic way to kick off the holidays, and I couldn’t agree more with COL David Stewart’s sentiment — our tree stands not just as a symbol of the holidays, but also as a beacon of unity.
We are truly a purple military base, united in our commitment to ensuring that moments like these will continue to be celebrated for years to come as proud Americans! The sense of togetherness on Fort Belvoir is truly something special, and it's a reminder of the strength and resilience of our military families. As we look ahead to the holidays, let us remember the importance of unity and community, and the lasting impact we can have when we celebrate these meaningful moments together.
