A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving break. Thank you to everyone who donated to the School Staff Taco Bar Luncheon being held tomorrow, Thursday, Dec 5 in the teacher’s lounge. And a huge thank you to our hospitality committee for organizing this event coordinating the cooking, drop offs, set up, and delivery. It’ll be quite delicious, I’m sure!
The Reflections Contest has concluded, and we’ve received an amazing 25 entries! The judges will be hard at work to evaluate the submitted artwork and the winners will be determined this week. Then, the winners will advance and compete at the County level Reflections Program. Thank you to our wonderful Coordinator, Daphne Huber, and the judges for volunteering in taking on this important role.
December 2, 2024, was National Special Education Day. Our wonderful PTA Hospitality committee put together a treat bag for each staff member that support our students with special needs which is about 40+ amazing people! Each bag was delivered to the teacher mailboxes. The SPED team ranges from the multi-disciplinary, learning disability, autism, counselors, speech and reading specialists, adaptive PE, PT, OT, PSL, psychologists, behavioral coaches, and all in between. Thank you for all you do for the children each and every day!
If you need anything, please reach out to President@huntvalleypta.org or info@huntvalleypta.org.
Sincerely,
Iris Stoyanov
Hunt Valley PTA President
