Young Scholars Go to Udvar-Hazy

On Thursday, our upper-grade Young Scholars students enjoyed a field trip to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center. Students experienced what the atmosphere on the moon is like, engineered a space habitat to withstand the atmospheric pressure on the moon, and got the chance to explore the museum. Thank you to our Mrs. Trope, our Advanced Academics Resource Teacher, for organizing this field trip!

Lost & Found is Overflowing!

If your child is missing a jacket or sweater, please stop by to see if it might be in our Lost & Found. The Lost & Found is located in the vestibule at located at the front door of the school. All items that are still here by December 20th will be donated to the B'Thrifty bin over winter break.

Do You Have Dismissal Changes?

We wish to remind families that if you need to make a dismissal change for you student, please send a message to your child's teacher and contact the school's front office.

If your student will be going home with a friend, please know that we must hear from you AND the parents of your child's friend. This is to confirm that all families agree on the dismissal arrangement and there are no surprises.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter. Our priority is always safety and we want to ensure that all of our students safely make it to where they need to be.
