Equipment Donation & Sports Booster Awards Night
Finished with your athletic equipment? Help more youth participate in sports by donating your used equipment at the Fall Sports Booster Awards Night on Wednesday, December 4 at 6 PM. The Athletic Booster Club will be collecting new AND used sports equipment at the welcome table by the GOLD cafeteria.
Donations will be delivered to Leveling the Playing Field (LPF). Here is a list of acceptable items to donate.
*Anyone may drop off donations, even if you are not attending Awards Night. You will receive a tax donation receipt.

Get to Know FCPS: Family Orientation
This interactive orientation seminar provides information about the school system, the links between family engagement and student achievement, school staff you should know, and programs and technology considerations for families. The orientation includes a discussion that is helpful for families new to the United States.
Sessions in English are held online on Tuesday, November 12, at 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, December 10, at 6 p.m.; and Thursday, December 19, at 6 p.m. Register in advance.

Military Families
MFLC are licensed professional counselors, provide short-term-solution focused counseling, help to address the day-to-day stressors of military life and the impact of deployment and reintegration. Services are free and confidential unless it is a duty to warn situation. For an MFLC to see your child a consent form must be signed and on file. They are available in English and Spanish. Please feel free to contact Ms. Andersen at 571-419-1794 if you have any questions. You can find her at Robinson on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

Afternoon Solutions
Afternoon Solutions is an opportunity for high school students to stay after on Mondays and get help from teachers on homework or assignments, studying for tests, time management, organization, and more. Students are asked to go to the cafeteria after school to attend.

The pressures around holidays can be challenging after the death of a loved one. If your teen has lost a loved one to cancer in the past four years consider having them come together with others in a group on December 3rd at 4:30. Hosted by Life with Cancer, not endorsed or sponsored by FCPS.
Second Story
A voluntary programs for teen and families in crisis that provides a no-cost three week residential program for teens ages 13-17.
Mindfulness Program for 9th/10th Graders
Would your student benefit from learning skills to reduce stress and anxiety? 9th and 10th grade students are invited to a six week Learn to Breathe group being offered after school on 10/23. 10/30, 11/6, 11/13. 11/20, and 12/4 from 3-4pm in the Calm Cafe in the Gold Cafeteria. Snacks will be provided and student's can take the late bus home! Please register here
