The Principals' Message
Hello CES Community,
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and found time to connect with family and friends. These next few weeks will be very fast paced as we rapidly approach the holiday break.
On Monday, we had a wonderful PTA meeting. We are so grateful for all that our PTA does to support CES. Please consider joining and supporting the PTA as it directly supports your students and CES!

Full-Time AAP Referral Window Reminder for Parents
Parents/ guardians who would like their student to be considered for full-time Advanced Academic services will need to submit all of the following documents together before or by December 15, 2024. This is a firm deadline, and late submissions will not be accepted. Do not submit these documents separately.
Important full time screening Information:
Referrals for AAP Level IV screening will be collected between until December 15, 2024.

Required: Level IV Parent Referral forms are submitted to Mrs. House, Advanced Academic Resource Teacher (AART) at the local school via email or by turning them in to the school Office by 4:30 p.m.

Subject Line: (Student First and Last Name) -Screening Referral
- The email will count as a digital signature for the referral.

If Paper forms are submitted: Submit to the school office in one envelope labeled (Students First and Last Name)
- Submissions must be turned in before the office closes at 4:30 p.m.

A confirmation email will be sent to the enrolling parent(s) within 24 hours of submission. If you have not received this email, please confirm with Mrs. House that she has received the documentation.

Optional Additional Pieces:
- A 1 page parent/guardian questionnaire may also be included (strongly encouraged). Please be sure to give examples of each behavior.
- Two (2) pages of student work samples. Student work samples must be single sided two pages maximum.
- Digital submissions must be submitted in Word/PDF/JPG format only.

A deadline of December 15, 2024 gives local schools time to organize and submit screening portfolios to the central office. More information, including parent presentation videos and descriptions of all available AAP services K-12, is available online.

FAMILY SPOTLIGHT BOARD
If your child has had a great personal/family moment lately, send your teacher a photo and it will be displayed on the Family Spotlight bulletin board in the main hallway! Examples: family celebrated a holiday, cultural traditions, child rode their bike without training wheels, great soccer game, got a new pet, and more!
Picture Orders
If, you still need to order pictures, Strawbridge has a NEW Code. Simply scan the QR code and follow the directions to access your child’s picture ordering gallery. Student last name and Student ID number will be required for data security.* If you have questions about the NEW code or are having difficulty navigating the site, please reach out to the Customer Service team via the Live Chat on the website, www.strawbridge.net.
