Message from the Principal
Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,
I hope this message finds you well. As I reflect on my first week as principal of Langley High School, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude and share my excitement for what lies ahead.
I am deeply thankful for the warm reception from our students, staff, and families. I’ve had the opportunity to meet many of you and see firsthand the passion, dedication, and commitment to excellence that defines our school community.
I’ve been listening, observing, and learning throughout this first week. I have been fortunate to experience students engaging in strong academic activities and excellent extracurricular programming. I have also met parents and family members at various community events. The talent of our students has blown me away. I am committed to ensuring that our school is where every student feels supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
I’m excited about what's to come and looking forward to the future of our students and school community.

Depression is treatable; however, it is a leading risk factor for suicide. To proactively address mental illness, Langley High School is providing a mental wellness screening and suicide prevention training as part of the SOS Signs of Suicide Prevention Program.

You are asked to write at least a paragraph explaining how your nominee meets or exceeds the criteria for the award. If your nominee is chosen as the Langley HS winner, you will be asked to complete the nominator statement form that is included in the official packet for consideration in the next round of the competition. Donate to the PTSA
Donate to the PTSA! The PTSA depends on donations from our families to provide the programming and school support for this year. The PTSA budget relies on families donating $125 per student. If you have yet to donate this year, please do so here. Already this year, the PTSA has held social events for our students to help build community, like the Tailgate and Trivia Tournament. PTSA has hosted events to show our wonderful Langley staff how much their work with our students is appreciated, to include the Welcome Back Breakfast and Fall Appreciation Lunch. PTSA has supported the academic and artistic pursuits of our students including buying books for the English department, sponsoring the Robotics Club, and supporting the performing arts. We have many more events planned this year, but we need the financial support of our families to make these programs and sponsorships possible! Please donate!
