Our sixth graders really shined at the Talent Show. We're grateful to Mrs. Hibitts and Ms. Callahan for supporting our students.

Boundary Review Community Meetings

Boundary graphic for newsletters

As a reminder, FCPS has started the process of reviewing school boundaries across the division. This important work will help the district better support student population growth, changes in school capacity, and evolving community needs. Community input is vital to this process. With that in mind, FCPS, in partnership with Thru Consulting, will be hosting a series of community meetings in each of FCPS’ six regions. Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn more about the boundary review process.

Please visit FCPS’ website for meeting dates, locations, and other information. Sign up for the School Boundary Review newsletter for updates.

Please Return Your Federal Impact Aid Form

Have you completed your Impact Aid Form?  All families should complete the form whether you are a military family or not. The form is accessible through your SIS ParentVUE account under Online Packets (in the upper right corner after logging in). The form directly affects federal money given to Fairfax County Public Schools so please complete it as soon as possible. Our goal is 100% responses from our families. The amount of money received from the U.S. Department of Education is based on families that have a military connection, home addresses on federal property or work performed on federal property.

If you’ve already filled out your form thank you for your support.  If we haven’t received yours electronically, we’ll be printing hard copies of the form next week and sending them home with your student to fill out and return.  If you have any questions contact Sue Holmes at ksholmes@fcps.edu.

For more information, please watch this video on Impact Aid and visit the Federal Impact Aid Survey page.

Lost-n-Found - Please check for items!

landf

With all this crazy hot/cold weather, our lost and found is now overflowing. Please have your student check for missing items, or come in anytime to check for yourself. Any items remaining when we head off to Thanksgiving break will be donated to a local charity.

Community Donations

We invite you to consider donating a gift or gift cards to support holiday assistance for our community. Donations can be dropped off at the front office or sent with your child to be given to their teacher. If possible, please wrap gifts and include a note describing the item. Unwrapped gifts are also welcome — we’ll take care of the wrapping and ensure the magic is delivered! All donations will be collected until December 13th.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
