FSES Community,
Last week was a fantastic week for FSES. Ms. Nevills and Mr. Ralston joined the chorus at the FCPS School Board meeting where they performed. I was invited to attend the Mclean Cititzen’s Association meeting as they celebrated their 110th anniversary and honored Franklin Sherman as a legacy partner. Both events were posted on our new social media sites- Facebook and Instagram. You can search for us as “franklinshermanelementary” and follow us for weekly shoutouts.
Next week, we will host our first annual Turkey Trot. We will have pom poms and clappers ready for parents to come and cheer on their child(ren). Students will be running around our track competing for most laps and most spirited runner. We have an arch for the start line, race bibs, and we will have music and lots of fun!! Please join us.
