Principal's Message

FSES Community,

I am excited to share that we are currently working on the organization and planning for Franklin Sherman’s first official Turkey Trot. We will be hosting this Turkey Trot on 11/26 for each grade level. Next week, you will receive your child’s grade level running start time. I encourage families to come and cheer on their children as they run our track and get ready to enjoy the long holiday weekend. More details will follow next week.

Hola todos! Good news from Spanish Class!

Last week, our sixth students and Ms. Monica had their first meeting with the students and teacher of the Institución Educativa La Esperanza in Caquetá-Colombia  as part of the FLES Global Classroom Project this year for the second time.

This exciting exchange marks a step towards global learning, allowing our young students to become world citizens, innovators, and be aware of global challenges.

Together, they are exploring solutions that can have a positive impact on our community and beyond, based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Both schools have had a wonderful experience that allowed students to practice a second language (Spanish/English), improving their speaking comprehension and proficiency.
