Hello Belle View Families,
We have a busy week this week at the View! Today we have an author visit for all students and we will be having a 3 hour early release. Students will be released at 12:55 unless childcare hardships were specified.
Tomorrow we are hosting a special education family night from 6-7pm in the cafeteria for any families wanting resources for their child with down syndrome, autism, or other cognitive impairments. We have a parent joining us, Erin Thielman who is a board member of the Down Syndrome Association of Northern VA to discuss resources and programs available to children and also, Principal Pete Kelly from The Pulley Center up at West Potomac High School that works with 18-22 year old students to access the work force. Pizza served and child care available.
Thursday is our Thanksgiving Luncheon--lunch schedules are below and have gone home and have been emailed in weekly class newsletters!
Join us Friday night at 6pm for the ever popular Belle View Bingo Night! Preorders have gone home in Wednesday folders! So much fun to be had!
Have a fabulous week!
Proud Principal,
Katie Pluntke

As the holiday season approaches and your child asks for devices, consider reviewing Cellphones and Devices: A Guide for Parents and Caregivers in English or Spanish. You can find questions to ask about the right time to get a device, general device use rules, and tips to set a healthy media balance. There is also a YouTube version in English and Spanish if you prefer to listen through the tips.
