Hello CES Community,
It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving break is almost here! Just 7 more school days to go!
Last night's Family Noodle Night was a wonderful evening of connection and delicious food. Each family shared a special noodle dish, complete with a unique story. We're so grateful to Mrs. Vodi and Ms. Newman for organizing such a fantastic event. We look forward to building on this success for future family food nights.
Get ready for the Fall Book Fair at CES! We'll be open on Saturday (9am-1pm), during Math Night, and during both Thanksgiving Luncheons. Stop by to explore a wide selection of books and support our students' love of reading.
Ready to be a holiday hero? The Purple Eagles are on a mission to fill the Toys for Tots box! Bring a new, unwrapped toy to school and drop it off in the bus lobby by December 9th. Let's make this season extra special for kids in need!

December to Remember
During the month of December, we would like to take a moment to celebrate and thank our amazing CES staff! They have gone above and beyond each day, so we would like to show our appreciation through treats and surprises. We cannot do this without your help! If you are able, please sign up for an item(s) below and drop it off at the front office by Tuesday, December 3rd. You can also send it with your child and have them take it down to the office any time prior to December 3rd. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.  Boundary Review Community Meeting
Community meetings regarding FCPS’ comprehensive boundary review will take place in each of the division's six regions. You are encouraged to attend the meeting in our region, which will take place on [your region’s date and location (see above)].
Please register in advance by clicking on the date. Language interpretation will be available.
Tuesday, December 3, 6:30-8 p.m., at Lake Braddock Secondary School Cafeteria.

FAMILY SPOTLIGHT BOARD
If your child has had a great personal/family moment lately, send your teacher a photo and it will be displayed on the Family Spotlight bulletin board in the main hallway! Examples: family celebrated a holiday, cultural traditions, child rode their bike without training wheels, great soccer game, got a new pet, and more!
