Haycock Hello 11.11.24

vets 2

Dear Haycock Families,

Our second graders and band and strings students put on a great performance in honor of veterans on Friday.  We appreciate the many sacrifices that veterans and those currently serving in the military make and their service to our country.

Tomorrow evening, November 12, Ms. O'Hair, our Advanced Academics Resource Teacher (AART) will provide an information session about the upcoming AAP spring eligibility deadlines and referral requirements/guidelines at 6:00 in the cafeteria.

To all the veterans on our Haycock staff and in our school community, we honor and show our appreciation today.  Happy Veteran's Day.

We look forward to seeing our students tomorrow morning.

With appreciation for your partnership,

Liz Beaty, Principal embeaty@fcps.edu

Heather Boyd, AP   HABoyd@fcps.edu

Krystal Styles, AP   krstyles@fcps.edu

📍 Boundary Review Community Meetings Start This Month

As a reminder, FCPS has started the process of reviewing school boundaries across the division. This important work will help the district better support student population growth, changes in school capacity, and evolving community needs. Community input is vital to this process. With that in mind, FCPS, in partnership with Thru Consulting, will be hosting a series of community meetings in each of FCPS’ six regions. Participants are encouraged to share their thoughts, ask questions, and learn more about the boundary review process.

Please visit FCPS’ website for meeting dates, locations, and other information. Sign up for the School Boundary Review newsletter for updates.

Order Haycock 2024-25 Yearbooks

Order your child's yearbook before December 15 for $20.  After that date, the price will go up to $25.  Yearbooks arrive and are available to students a week before school ends in June.
