Family Science Night
on 11/14
All students and their families are invited to the GBW Gym on Thursday, November 14 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for a free event presented by the
Children's Science Center Lab.
• 90 minute evening program combining science learning and family bonding.
• Hands-on activities demonstrating a variety of scientific principles making STEM learning fun, accessible, and more appealing to today’s students.
• Activities are most appropriate for children between 5 and 12 years of age.
• Designed for caretakers to self-guide their students through each station.
Activities include: Stacking Currency: Building Financial Literacy, Monster Math: Creating with Probability, Slippery Slopes: Exploring Water Pollution, among others. Students will be participating in these hands-on experiments, specially designed to provoke interest in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

Let’s achieve our goal of having 250 members of the GBW PTA! We are currently at 239 members. The 3 classes with the highest percentage of membership by 10/31 will receive a popsicle party. Joining PTA doesn’t mean you have to volunteer any or at all! Help out if you want to, when you want to, or just simply help our PTA budget out by joining for $15-$20.
