Crew Interest Meeting |
A crew interest meeting was held on October 30th. The interest meeting for the pilot program was well attended. The program will run though the Frost after school program and will be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 PM from Wednesday November 6th through Thursday November 21st.
Coaches from the Woodson Rowing Team will teach the fundamentals of rowing and the benefits of being on a rowing team including camaraderie, fitness and resilience. Students will participate on ERGs (rowing machines) and may also do some running or other cardio activities outside on the track.
A sign-up link will be provided through Schoology on Thursday, October 31st. All students are welcome to register.
Fairfax County IEP Palooza
Join us for the return of this popular event! Watch a simulated IEP meeting and attend breakout sessions where all your IEP questions will be answered! This event is geared toward parents, school staff and students aged 14 and up. CE Credits are available. Guests include FCPS and PEATC (Parents Education Advocacy Parent Training). A resource fair will be held after the event.

PTA Grant Application Fall 2024
Teachers and faculty, do you have a program that the PTA can help support? The PTA grant application for Fall 2024 is now open! Please complete this form to request funds from the PTA. This grant program is possible thanks to the generous support of the Frost community.

Thank you to many who joined and others who stepped up to volunteer. As we embark on another exciting school year, we invite you to make a difference for our students and teachers at Frost Middle School through Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) membership.
PTA Family Memberships are $25. Funds from PTA memberships and donations are used in support of the Frost PTA’ initiatives including our staff Grant Program. Your dollars will go directly to programs that enrich the experience of students, families, and staff here at Frost. A family membership also includes access to the Frost online student directory. Every parent/guardian who signs up for PTA membership automatically gets included in the student directory, unless you choose to opt your student out.

Volunteers Needed for 8th Grade Celebration
We are looking for volunteers to serve on the planning team for the 8th grade celebration. We will need several dedicated individuals to make sure this event is a success! If you are interested in serving on the planning committee for the 8th grade celebration (or are interested in helping plan other events such as Bingo Night), please contact president@frostmspta.org
