Dear Terraset Families,

Thank you for helping to ensure our second 3 hour early release Monday went as smoothly as possible!  We appreciate that the majority of families did not make last minute changes to your child/ren’s dismissal plans after sharing with the school.  Because of our partnership, we were able to keep every Tiger safe.  For the next early release day, December 9th, we will again confirm your dismissal plans following the Thanksgiving Break.

This week we also have a 2 hour early dismissal for all students on Thursday, October 31st. This is our Storybook Character Day! Your child/ren are welcome to wear a school-appropriate costume to school (no masks), and bring their book with them. Additionally, FCPS will be closed for Diwali, All Saints Day, and Día de los Muertos on Friday, November 1st. Students will also have Monday, November 4th and Tuesday, November 5th as student holidays. We will be so eager to welcome them back to school on Wednesday, November 6th!

Happy Short Week,

Katie Aldridge, Principal

Dave Ickowski, Assistant Principal

📖Storybook Character Day

Help us celebrate our love for literacy. Students may dress up as their favorite storybook character on October 31st. If you like, bring your favorite book along! Be creative and appropriate for school, but no masks or weapons.
