This week, workers removed the tires on our bathroom unit and built the steps and deck, making this the permanent location for our bathroom.  We're getting closer!

Principal's Message

Dear Brookfield Families,

I hope this email finds you well. As we conclude the first quarter of the school year, I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate our students' incredible accomplishments.  Our students have been diligently working hard, demonstrating their dedication to learning and growth. I am impressed by their enthusiasm, curiosity, and positive attitudes.  I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to our dedicated teachers and staff for their unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing and supportive learning environment. I have enjoyed my time here, and I know the new principal will be excited to work in such a wonderful learning community.

Parent and teacher conferences are happening – many of them on November 4th.  If you have not scheduled a conference, please reach out to your child’s teacher as soon as possible.  We value your partnership.

Students do not have school on Friday, November 1, Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5th. Progress reports highlighting your child’s progress the first quarter will come home on November 12th.

Sincerely,

Maureen Boland, Interim Principal

Calling All Veterans and Active Military Members!

We invite you to join us in honoring Veterans Day by visiting our classrooms and sharing your experiences with our elementary students. It's a wonderful opportunity to inspire and educate young minds about service.

FCPS is closed for Veterans Day. We are inviting all Veterans into the building on Friday, November 15.

If you're interested in participating, please contact Kevin Feighery at kbfeighery@fcps.edu, and we will connect you with a classroom.

Thank you for your service!

Fairfax Free Book Bus visits Brookfield

FB

We loved seeing all the excitement about the books from the book bus this week!  Thank you to everyone who made this happen.  It was fabulous to see the students browsing so intently and settling down to read their new books in the beautiful fall sunshine! I know it was time away from other classroom activities and we appreciate you making time for this opportunity!
