Original Works flyer

PTA Original Works: Order by Wednesday, Nov 6

Last week, the PTA Original Works Parent Package were placed inside your child’s Thursday Folders. The package contains your child’s artwork project, a color flyer detailing the available products, a cover letter with pricing information and instructions, and an order form. 

If you decide to purchase, your order will need to be returned to school no later than Wednesday, November 6th. Please review the cover letter in the packet carefully for step-by-step instructions for submitting your order. 

Make Checks payable to: Hunters Woods PTA Place your payment, order form, and artwork back in the bag for safe transport back to school.

Lost and Found Announcement

 

Don't Forget to Claim Lost And Found Items by November 7

Please stop by the Lost and Found before Thursday, November 7 to claim any of your items. Any items not claimed will be donated after that time.

Anytime during the school day, stop by the main office, and they can show you where the Lost and Found is located.


PTA meeting November 20

Join us for the November 20 PTA Meeting

Join us to get PTA updates and more information on upcoming activities and volunteer opportunities.

We’ll have volunteers available to watch any children who attend.

No time for dinner before? Hot dogs, pizza, chips, and drinks will be available for purchase. Cash only.

Date: Wednesday, November 20

Time: 6pm- Pre-meeting (food for purchase and socializing)

6:30pm- Meeting start

Location: HWES Library (enter through school front door)

Help us plan ahead- If you plan to bring your children or purchase food, please complete this Google form.

Please note: The book fair will be open after school and in the evening prior to the meeting, so feel free to come early to browse and maybe even buy a book or two.


Movie Night Flyer- November 2024

Join Us for Movie Night Featuring Luca

Date: Friday, November 22

Time: Doors open at 6pm; Movie starts at 6:15pm

Place: Hunters Woods Gymnasium

No entry fee! Donations welcomed, but not required. Refreshments will be available for cash purchase.

Note that you may brings something to sit on (camp chairs, blankets, pillows, etc.) and your own food and drinks.

Food 4 Thought is a PTA-sponsored initiative to help students in need with healthy, shelf-stable food for the weekends and school-day snacks.

Volunteer: Help deliver food bags and snacks to classrooms. Sign up here. 

Donate to our Pantry: Check out our Amazon wish list. Donations can be dropped off in the box outside the main office, or Amazon purchases can be shipped directly to the school (choose the Food 4 Thought gift registry address).

Specific pantry items needed include:

  • Gift cards to grocery stores, Costco, or Amazon
  • Shelf-stable white milk (single servings)
  • Tuna and cracker snack packs
  • Vegetarian meal options
