A Message from the PTA President
Dear Hunt Valley Families,
Exciting news that Hunt Valley Elementary got listed on the Virginia PTA Facebook page for reaching an incredible milestone in September! The PTA has had 40% growth in membership compared to last year at the same time. As of today, we are at 200 members! Thank you to all that have signed up for membership! If you would like to follow the Virginia PTA and see other exciting news, visit here.
The Trunk or Treat event is in 2 days! We have 22 trunks signed up and have received some candy and non-food donations so far but could use a lot more. If you can help donate or sign up for a volunteer slot, please sign up here (https://hvpta.ptboard.com/sgnvw?group). It’ll be an exciting evening with costumes, friends, a live DJ and dance party on the tennis courts.
The online registration for the Pyramid Challenge has closed and Hunt Valley had a great push in registrations early last week with over 120 people signed up! We are now looking for volunteers to ensure this event is a success. Volunteer sign ups can be found here. Be sure to look for the Hunt Valley and other general assignments!
Lastly, the 2024-2025 Reflections Art Contest has been officially kicked off! If your child is interested in participating in this contest, please visit the PTA website for more information about contest rules, how to submit entry forms, FAQs, and examples of previous winners: https://hvpta.ptboard.com/annlist.
If you need anything, please reach out to President@huntvalleypta.org or info@huntvalleypta.org.
Sincerely,
Iris Stoyanov
