PTA Updates for October 24th
Students have completed their Square 1 Art designs and it has been shipped off! Now it’s time to shop and see the art your child has created. Catalogs will come home soon, but in the meantime you can shop directly from the website: square1art.com/Shop/artwork/Search.
If your child was unable to create art in school, there is a short window to upload your own art on the website and have it be a part of the fundraiser: https://shop.square1art.com/Shop/upload
Check out your child’s art and support our Dragons! All orders are due November 8th and will ship within 2-3 weeks!
Minted Fundraiser
We can't believe it either, but the holidays are right around the corner! This year, we're partnering with Minted to help us fundraise for Dranesville Elementary PTA. Reflections Art Contest: Submissions due Nov.15th
Explore the arts and express yourself! The Dranesville PTA is hosting the Reflections Art program this year recognizing the artistic efforts of all students who participate! Plus, first-place entries can advance to the state and national level! Students should submit their completed works of theme-based art, along with their artist statement, by November 15th. The theme this year is “Accepting Imperfection.”

Herndon Homecoming Parade - November 9, 2024!
Show your spirit and join us at the Herndon Homecoming Parade where Dranesville Elementary are the defending School Group Champions. This year's theme is "Out of This World," and our float theme is "Blast off on a learning adventure with Dranesville Elementary."

- Friday, November 8th: Volunteer to help decorate our float
- Saturday, November 9th: Walk with us in the parade alongside our mascot Drake the Dragon!
