SCA is excited to sponsor a series of school spirit days this school year! Our first school spirit day will occur on Thursday, October 31st, where students will have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite book character. We request that all costumes are school-appropriate and do not involve masks or weapons of any type. We can’t wait to see so many of our favorite characters come to life!
Lees Corner Elementary School would like to invite our community’s military family members for breakfast, a performance from our chorus, and an opportunity to speak with students and share their experiences on the morning of Friday, November 8, in celebration of Veterans Day.
We are very thankful for all the military family members in our school community and we want our students and staff to have an opportunity to make connections with you. We would like to invite all the Active Duty, Reserve, and retired members of our Armed Forces in the Lees Corner community to join us on this important day.
On November 8th at 9:15am, we invite veterans to join our celebration! We will also be having a breakfast reception followed by a possible visit to a classroom to share a little bit about themselves and their service to our country.
RSVP: If you, or one of your family members, are an active Duty, Reserve, or retired member of our Armed Forces and are interested in joining us on Friday, November 8 at 9:15am please RSVP here by Friday, November 1st. We look forward to seeing you on November 8.
