Notes from the Nest

In our SEES school community, we S.O.A.R., meaning that we demonstrate: Support, Optimism, Acceptance, and Responsibility.

Dear Springfield Estates Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful week! It was full of excitement, community spirit, and plenty of memorable moments here at Springfield Estates – home of the Eagles who SOAR! As always, we continue to embrace our SOAR values of being Supportive, Optimistic, Accepting, and Responsible in all that we do.

Pumpkin Spirit Day Fun! Today’s “Dress Like a Pumpkin” day was a blast! It was so much fun seeing our students, teachers, and staff participate in the festivities with creative and adorable outfits. The hallways were filled with pumpkin-themed joy, reminding us all how special our school community truly is.

Important Reminder: Early Release Day on Monday, October 21st: Next Monday, October 21st, is a 3-hour early release day. Please ensure your child knows their dismissal plan for the day!

  • Students who are going home will be dismissed at 1:05 PM.
  • Students remaining for school activities will be dismissed at the regular time of 4:05 PM.

Farewell and Welcome Back: We would like to take a moment to thank Ms. Einsel for her years of dedicated service to our school. She has made an incredible impact on our students and staff, and we wish her the very best in her well-deserved retirement. At the same time, we are thrilled to welcome back Ms. Preeti Kumar to the Eagle's Nest! After her leave of absence, she has returned to take over the 5th-grade class. We are excited to have her back, and we know the students will benefit from her expertise and enthusiasm.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Together, we will continue to help our students SOAR every day!

April Martin
Proud Principal
