The Cardinal Connection: CPES News Delivered to You

Dear Cardinal Families,

As the leaves begin to change color and the air turns crisp, we are excited to welcome the fall season. We are also excited to have our annual PTA Fall Festival today from 4:30-6:30 PM. This is a great opportunity for our students and families to come together and enjoy some fun activities. There will be games, crafts, food, and more.

Our next three hour early release Monday is October 28 at 12:25 pm.  We are happy to share that SACC will provide coverage for our SACC students. We have contacted families earlier today to confirm your plan you previously selected for your child.

We kindly ask that you do your best to avoid changing your plans on the day of the early release. Any last-minute changes can disrupt our communication with teachers as they are teaching and not able to check their email and take phone calls during the school day. If you anticipate needing to make a change to your arrangements, please contact the school office well in advance.

In addition, please be advised of the following early dismissal and no-school days:

  • Thursday, October 31st: 2 hour Early Release at 1:25 pm
  • Friday, November 1st: No School

We kindly ask that you make necessary childcare arrangements for these dates. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Warmly,

Allison Hoak, Principal

Jon Kemmerer, Assistant Principal

ID

Please Have Your Photo ID Ready for School Visits

We want to remind you that when you visit our school, it is important to have your photo identification (ID) with you. This helps us ensure the safety and security of our school community.

We understand that sometimes it can be easy to forget, but having your ID ready will help streamline the check-in process and allow us to welcome you promptly.

This reminder is especially important as we approach parent-teacher conferences. Please make sure to have your ID ready when you come to meet with your child's teacher.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all.
