Breakfast is Key
- Encourage your child to eat a balanced breakfast. A nutritious breakfast can help them focus and perform better in class. A nutritious breakfast is offered daily at your childâs school.
Smart Snacking
- Pack healthy snacks for your child to enjoy. Fruit and vegetables, like the ones featured on our salad bars, are great in between meal snack.
Mindful Eating
- Teach your child to eat slowly and savor their food. This can help them feel satisfied without over consumption.
Hydration is Essential
- Encourage your child to drink plenty of water throughout the day. Avoid sugary drinks and excessive juice.
Explore New Foods
- Encourage your child to try new foods in the cafeteria. Variety is key to a healthy diet. Review your schoolâs menu with your child and discuss new foods to try!
Involve Your Child in Meal Planning
- Let your child help choose meals and snacks. This can make them more excited about healthy eating and assist during those picky eating stages.
Remember, small changes can make a big difference. By following these tips, you can help your child develop healthy eating habits that will benefit them for years to come.
Friendly Reminders!
đ No U-Turns & Slow Down!
U-Turns on Reservation Dr. are both illegal and very, very dangerous. We continue to get reports of cars making these illegal U-Turns. The safety of our school community is compromised every time someone does this. Please take the time to use Kiss-n-Ride and/or find another route to get back up to the Parkway.
Follow all posted Speed Limit signs. Going slowly by the school helps to ensure student, staff, and parent safety as everyone is coming and going. The crossing guard is there to help with the flow of traffic and guarantee all can cross safely. Follow all directions given by the police officer posted at the intersection.
Thank you!
đ

You can also call, 703-644-8282 to report any attendance messages.Â
