Dear Families,
We have had a great week filled with excitement and learning. It was a pleasure to see so many of you joining your children for lunch! In addition, our students have been enjoying some fantastic field trips, exploring new places and applying what they have learned in the classroom. It is great to watch them grow and thrive each day.
As we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of all our students, I want to remind everyone of two important procedures during arrival and dismissal times:
-
Bus Loop Safety: For the safety of all, please avoid crossing the bus loop at any time. Our buses need clear access, and pedestrians in this area create a significant safety concern. We kindly ask that you use the designated crosswalks and follow staff directions to ensure everyone's safety.
-
Car Rider Line: When dropping off or picking up your child in the car rider line, please ensure that all passengers are wearing seatbelts until the vehicle has come to a complete stop. It’s crucial that we follow this safety precaution to keep everyone safe during these busy times.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all our students. If you have any questions or need further clarification, don’t hesitate to reach out.
With appreciation,
Taiia Clarke
Principal

Safeway Pharmacy has been hosting free immunization clinics at Frost Middle School for any FCPS student age 18 or younger. The clinics are one of many ways FCPS is providing opportunities for students to receive their required immunizations.
The next clinic will be Monday, October 28, 3-7 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are highly encouraged to avoid wait times. A parent or guardian must accompany walk-in students age 18 or younger to provide consent. Learn more about immunization resources and registering in other languages for the Safeway clinic.
Please note that students age 19 and older may access free immunizations at their middle/high school immunization clinic, the Fairfax County Health Department or through other community resources.

We’re excited to announce that the PTA will be hosting our annual Election Day Bake Sale on November 5th from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM! This is a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, enjoy some delicious treats, and support our fundraising efforts.
We would love your help to make this event a success! You can contribute in two ways:
-
Volunteer: We need enthusiastic parents to help run the bake sale! There are 2-hour time slots available throughout the day, and students are welcome to join their parent/guardian volunteers. If you're interested, please sign up using the following link: Volunteer Sign-Up.
-
Donate Baked Goods: Whether it’s a homemade specialty or a store-bought treat, every contribution counts! If you’re bringing homemade items, please label them with allergen information to ensure everyone's safety. Turn in baked items to the front office by November 4th or directly to the bake sale tables on November 5th.
This event is not only a great way to support our school but also a fun way to engage with our community. Thank you for your generosity and support!
