Principal's Message
Dear Terraset Families,
We hope everyone had a wonderful long, (and warm!) weekend. This week certainly feels more like fall and we’re getting excited for Book Character Day on the 31st, field trips for several grade levels, and our next 3 hour early release Monday coming on the 28th. Families will receive an individualized email the afternoon of Wednesday, October 16th to confirm your child/ren’s dismissal plan as recorded on the Google form you submitted previously. Any changes to that plan should be made by calling the main office at 703-390-5600 by no later than Thursday, October 24th.
Also, thank you to all of you that have supported our right turn only during arrival and dismissal at kiss and ride change this year. This is increasing our efficiency so that our line moves more quickly, especially on high volume days. Please note that there are several places to turn around after you make the right turn such as the Ridge Heights pool parking lot and neighborhoods. Please do not make illegal u-turns in the middle of the street or attempt the left hand turn out of our driveway. Our goal is to not only be efficient but more importantly, keep children, parents, caregivers, pets, and staff safe!
Warmly,
Katie Aldridge, Principal
Dave Ickowski, Assistant Principal
