Families,
Another great week is coming to a close at FBUS. Please remember that there is no school for students on Monday, as our teachers have a workday. I encourage each of you to enjoy the beautiful fall weather this weekend and spend some time outdoors as a family!

Upcoming Community Events
On Saturday, Oct. 12 @ 11 AM-3 PM, Mount Vernon HS will hold a free STEM Fest for K-8 students, featuring STEM activities such as robotics, coding, and experiments.
FCPS is providing free bus transportation to Mount Vernon HS from nearby elementary schools: Fort Belvoir ES, Mount Vernon Woods ES, Woodlawn ES, and Washington Mill ES. Students must register by Thursday at 4 PM to reserve a seat on the bus, but students may also ride the bus without reservations subject to space availability. All students must be accompanied by an adult. To register, click here.
BUS SCHEDULE:
Pick up at Fort Belvoir Elementary campus 10:30 a.m. to arrive at Mount Vernon at 11:00 a.m.
